Olive was found struggling on the streets in Romania. Her story was seen by one of our volunteers, Susie, who fell in love with her. Our Ambassador Dan, then drove from the UK to Romania to meet her and bring her back to her forever home where she has an amazing life with Susie and her 3 cats.

Louis was rescued by IAPWA Founder, Nicky in Borneo. He was found at just a few months old, cowering on a rubbish dump, alone and terrified. After taking him back to our facility he transformed into a happy, confident puppy and flew back to the UK with Nicky to live with her and Summer, her rescue cat.

Kratu was found in a Romanian gypsy camp but now lives with Tess in our Volunteer team. He is now a Pets as Therapy dog and also his owners assistance dog. He has won ‘Best in Show’ in many dog shows and has since travelled back to Romania to raise awareness to help other dogs in need.

Romana was rescued living near a railway in Romania and taken to Centre of Hope where we met her in 2017 with Mary Burgess, Founder of the Animal Star Awards. After meeting Romana, Mary fell in love with her and arranged for her to come and live with her and her other dog Gracie Lou in the UK.

We first met Noa at a sanctuary who we had supported within one of our neutering campaigns. One of our Volunteers, Marielle had been looking for a very special dog to join her family and after seeing her photo Noa arrived in the Netherlands shortly after where she now has an amazing life with her new family.

Pippa was rescued as a puppy living in a market in Penang. Unfortunately she was the victim of abuse and was terrified and alone. The family of one of our other Ambassadogs, Noa, heard about Pippa’s plight and decided to adopt her. Noa and Pippa now live together, raising awareness for our Penang and Romania projects.
