On a glorious afternoon this September, animal lovers from around the country came together in sunny Brighton for a unique celebrity challenge like no other.

Led by IAPWA Ambassador, Nick Taylor, a team of brave celebrities stepped forward to face their fears and take on an epic journey, flying 300m across Brighton Beach on the longest zip wire on the south coast at Brighton Zip. The aim? To raise vital funds for animals in need so IAPWA can continue to provide our lifeline to the dogs and cats who rely on our support around the world. What a fantastic day it was!

As well as our brave celebrity team tackling the zip line, many members of the public also stepped forward to support the animals by taking the 300m journey across Brighton Beach – the lovely team at Brighton Zip have very kindly donated a percentage of their profits raised on the day to our charity which we are incredibly grateful for. A huge thank you to Brighton Zip for letting us hold such a fun-tastic event. We’d also like to say a big thank you to the official event sponsor, our good friends at Barnaby & Jones.

We’re so incredibly excited to bring you more unique fundraising events in the future, but in the meantime, if you are interested in holding your own event to help the animals, please do not hesitate to reach out so we can discuss this further and support you. Whether you are an individual looking to hold a small car boot sale, or a business looking to do something a little bigger, we’d be delighted to speak with you.
