Join IAPWA for the adventure of a lifetime that helps support animals in need

There’s nothing more exciting than throwing on your hiking boots and jetting off on a new adventure, especially when that adventure gives you the opportunity to raise lifesaving funds for animals around the world. If you’re an adrenaline junkie or love to experience new corners of the globe, IAPWA’s challenges provide the perfect opportunity for you to let off some steam, enjoy new experiences with like-minded people, and of course help those animals who have nobody else to rely on but IAPWA and supporters like you.

Each year, IAPWA brings you a host of challenges set in many beautiful corners of the world. Each challenge represents our strong presence within these nations, with some being the home to our overseas projects. We’re delighted to share that we’ll soon be offering a range of overseas trips and experiences including:

Depending on your fitness level, our challenges can vary from visiting local animal sanctuaries to a 2 day trek reaching the summit of Mount Kinabalu. If you’re an explorer, you can choose one of our overseas challenges with durations from 3 days to 14 days. If you don’t want to venture too far from home, we’ll also soon be hosting many challenges in the UK that include dog walks, hikes in the UK’s national parks, skydiving and other fun activities.

The trip made me absolutely fall in love with Romania! The hikes were challenging but doable for someone like me with very little experience of hiking, and the sense of achievement when we completed each one, along with knowledge that we were raising money for a brilliant cause, was a fantastic feeling! The scenery was breathtaking and it was great to enjoy it with a group of like-minded people. It was a brilliant experience and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it!
