How can I help the animals this Christmas?
Christmas is a time of giving, and what better way to spread the love than by helping IAPWA ensure that every animal in our care knows somebody is thinking of them at this time of year. They may not have a family of their own this Christmas, but with your help we can ensure they won't be forgotten.
To mark the holiday season fast approaching we have launched our very own IAPWA Christmas Shop. We have some really beautiful products for you to browse, and whether you’re purchasing for yourself or a loved one, every penny will support animals who need our help this Christmas. Browse our full range, including Christmas Cards, Handmade Baubles and even Virtual Gifts for the animals, here.
Christmas Fundraiser Jumpers
Christmas 5K Challenge & Collections
If you already have too many Christmas Jumpers, don’t dismay, there are many other ways you can help! We would love your support with raising money for the animals either by joining us at our station and street collections (listed below) or by signing up for our Christmas 5K Challenge. The rules? Well there aren’t really any rules except to have a whole lot of fun with it and raise a little bit of money for animals who have nobody to care for them this Christmas. You can choose from the following challenges:
- Tough: Cover 5K everyday between 25th Nov & 25th Dec
- Intermediate: Cover 5K every week in the lead up to Christmas
- Just for fun: Cover 5K just once, at anytime you choose
You can set up your 5k Challenge via Facebook, or you can set up your 5k Challenge via JustGiving.
If you would like to join us at the below locations, collecting life-saving funds for the animals, please get in touch with our Community & Events Manager, Rachel on rachel.cooper@iapwa.org or just pop down and say hello. We’d love to meet you!
