We are delighted to announce the appointment of Nick Taylor as a new Ambassador for International Aid for the Protection & Welfare of Animals (IAPWA).

Nick, who is based in West Sussex, has been a media lawyer and Partner in the firm Healys LLP for 30 years and is married with two children. He’s also an Ambassador for the Brighton-based Starr Trust children’s charity and recently acted pro bono for the Vegan Land Movement in one of the first UK acquisitions of agricultural land for the sole purpose of rewilding it and returning it back to its natural habitat.

Nick actively supports many organisations and charities that promote animal welfare and we are delighted that he has chosen to join IAPWA as an Ambassador and help us on our mission to create a better future for animals in need.

“My passion for animals and their welfare started when I was a young boy. I rescued an abandoned fox cub that went on to become one of the many pets of our family. My wife Donna and I are both mad about dogs and two of our three dogs are rescue dogs from Serbia. I am an active animal advocate supporting many campaigns to change existing legislation to improve animal welfare in the UK.”

“As part of my campaigning I came across the fantastic work being done by IAPWA in Borneo and Europe to help stray dogs which instantly resonated with me having visited Borneo myself in 2018 and seeing first-hand the extent of the number of stray dogs in poor health. I am looking forward to working with such a dedicated and passionate team whose sole focus is to improve the welfare of these animals.”

IAPWA is thrilled to be working with Nick and look forward to bringing you updates about how our collaborative work is helping to improve the lives of those most in need.
