New Community Fundraising Programme
Introducing our new Community Fundraising Programme. We’re here to tell you all about what is it and how you can get involved…
We’re delighted to bring you this exciting opportunity to join our passionate, dedicated team! Not only will you learn new skills and meet like-minded animal lovers who could end up as life-long friends, but most importantly you will support IAPWA in providing a vital lifeline to animals in need all around the world.
What is the new IAPWA Community Fundraising Programme?
In order to continue to grow and have more of an impact worldwide for the animals who need us, we have created a new Community Fundraising Programme and are now looking for enthusiastic animal lovers to join our team and help us build strong fundraising communities throughout the UK. Our aim is to create a supportive, fun community of people from all walks of life joined together for the same cause; animal welfare.
The aim for our new Community Fundraising Programme is to grow our IAPWA family so as we can help even more animals worldwide. We simply wouldn’t be able to help all of the dogs and cats who rely on our lifeline without our dedicated team of volunteers. By joining our team you will be helping us to provide crucial shelter, food, veterinary care and protection to those who need us, as well as spreading awareness about our important work within your part of the world!
So how can I join the team?
We’re currently seeking County Managers who will play an integral part in creating our passionate community. Ideally we hope to connect with people who wish to work with us long-term; this allows us to create a special IAPWA community full of passionate and dedicated people. While this may sound like a big commitment, we are only asking for volunteers to dedicate approximately 3 hours per week to this role which can be carried out completely around your availability. We truly want our volunteers to have fun, sink their teeth into this opportunity and really make it their own. Thank you for reading – we hope you are excited as we are about taking this journey together and we can’t wait to hear from you. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with any questions.
If this role is not for you but you would still like to take part, our County Managers are going to be creating their own teams of lovely Community Leaders who will organise fundraising events and activities to support the animals in our care. Please do get in touch if this sounds of more interest to you and we will be able to pass your details on to your dedicated County Manager: rachel.cooper@iapwa.org
